About the District

At Wildgrass at Rockrimmon, you’ll find unique paired homes nestled into the coveted Rockrimmon area of Colorado Springs. Wildgrass at Rockrimmon is close to outdoor adventures at Garden of the Gods, the nearby foothills, and Pikes Peak. Residents will also enjoy in-town perks of nearby shopping, dining, and quick access to I-25.

The primary purpose of the Wildgrass at Rockrimmon Metro District (District) is to finance the construction and maintenance of public improvements for the use and benefit of all anticipated inhabitants and taxpayers of the District. The City Council of Colorado Springs approved the District’s Service Plan on September 11, 2007. The Amended and Restated Service Plan was approved May 22, 2018. The District is recognized as an independent unit of local government, separate and distinct from the City.

Wildgrass at Rockrimmon Metropolitan District has an existing mill levy of 35.642 mills obligated to pay off Debt (see Annual Report), and 11.881 mills to fund operations and maintenance with the District; at this time there is not discussion on issuing any future mill levies. The Debt mill levy is set to stay in place until the obligated debt is paid off, current maturity date is set for December 1, 2050 and December 15, 2050, and there are currently no anticipated increases or decreases.

At this time, there is no discussion on any additional Long Term Financial Obligations anticipated by the District. Here is a summary of the District’s current outstanding Long Term Financial Obligations:
